EMDR Therapy is an evidenced based treatment for trauma.  EMDR therapy is guided by the Adaptive Information Model which posits that present problems result from memories that are maladaptively stored in the brain.  EMDR Therapy, integrating within a Phase Oriented treatment framework (e.g. Stabilization, Memory Work, and Personality Reintegration), can be utilized in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociative symptoms.

This workshop will present EMDR Therapy and illustrate it’s utilization with a video of a session with  a client with an abuse history.
